Rasa Quartet
SSC presents Rasa Quartet, a contemporary Boston-based string ensemble, in a program of classic rock on strings. The quartet explores the musical space where classical, rock and folk traditions intersect, marrying music and storytelling. Among the familiar rock favorites, audience members can expect to hear are Led Zeppelin’s “Stairway to Heaven,” Kansas’s “Carry On Wayward Son,” Boston’s “More Than a Feeling,” and the Rolling Stones’ “Paint it Black.”
