Key Community Engagements
Our Creative Arts Therapies (or “CAT”) programs are funded in large part by individual donors and grants from organizations such as the Doug Flutie, Jr. Foundation for Autism.
“Thank you for all the tremendous support to the Pat Roche Hospice House patients and families – and for helping us launch this valuable new therapeutic support! Everything you have brought to PRHH has made a big difference.”
– Volunteer Coordinator and Chaplain, NVNA on Creative Arts Therapies
Arts & Literacy Residency
ImagineARTS is currently partnering with the Brockton Public School district and the Rockland Public Schools to strengthen early literacy skills among PreK and kindergarten students through arts-integrated literacy instruction, professional development, and more.
“We have a very large Cape Verdean population in Brockton… I heard from more than one staff member how excited they were to have Cape Verdean music yesterday during ImagineARTS. It made them feel included. Kudos to your program and the instructors! They are absolutely wonderful!”
– Principal, Brockton Public Schools, on ImagineARTS

Community Performances and Outreach
SSC hosts numerous events throughout the year, including free family concerts, faculty and student performances, and arts programs for underserved communities and individuals.
Check out our Calendar for upcoming performances and events!
“Our resident’s mom has Alzheimer’s and was so enjoying the performance that she was moving and clapping her hands to the music. It was such a beautiful sight to witness… Another resident loved the performance and wanted to know if SSC can come to their Chinese New Year event! Thank you again for this opportunity; I know the residents enjoyed it very much.”
– Elderly & Disabled Housing Coordinator, Quincy Housing Authority, on outreach performances
