Connor Thummel teaches students to develop a versatile, expressive sound through mindful, communicative playing. He has taught privately nationwide, in schools, and at BU Tanglewood Institute. A co-founder of community ensembles, he performs with Shift Orchestra Project and previously with Benefit Brass in Chicago. He joined SSC in 2022.
