Debbie Chen, bassoonist, inspires curiosity, expression, and fearlessness in students of all ages. She is Professor of Bassoon at Bridgewater State University and teaches in schools and chamber programs across Eastern Massachusetts. Debbie began teaching in college and continues to guide students with patience, discipline, and encouragement. She joined SSC in 2025, teaching oboe and bassoon.
