Music at SSC
At South Shore Conservatory, students can partake in any of our numerous programs year-round. From Suzuki method classes to private lessons to our Summer Music Festival performance intensive, our Music departments have classes, programs, and performances for all ages and backgrounds. Private Lessons
SSC employs a faculty of over 50 music educators and professionals who teach 1-on-1 lessons for a variety of instruments.

Group Classes & Performance Groups
Along with numerous group music classes for all ages, SSC offers a variety of performance groups for students to enroll in, including South Shore Conservatory Youth Orchestra and the Flute Symphony, as well as Chamber and Choral Groups.
Concerts & Events
SSC hosts a number of concerts, special guest appearances, and student showcases throughout the year, including the annual Duxbury Music Festival and performances by the South Shore Conservatory Youth Orchestra.
